30-Day Readmission Rates Are Highest for Breast and Prostate Cancer

Cancer accounted for the two highest 30-day hospital readmission rates across the profiled conditions in 2018 (breast cancer: 15.2%;
prostate cancer: 14.5%).

Conversely, 30-day hospital readmission rates were lowest, by profiled disease state, for hypertension (8.0%), lipid disorders (9.0%), osteoarthritis (9.5%), and stroke (9.9%).
